Staff Training & Qualifications

At BH Drilling, safety and expertise are at the heart of everything we do. Our team holds a wide range of qualifications and training, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards. Our lead and assistant drillers are certified with NVQ Level 2, and we’re BDA audited for quality assurance. Safety training includes emergency first aid at work, asbestos awareness, manual handling, and fire awareness. We also conduct wire rope inspections, use CAT & GENNY for underground service detection, and undergo safety critical medicals.

Our qualifications extend to specialist certifications like the Thames Water Passport, NRSWA (street works), SMSTS, SSSTS, DBS clearance, Highways England Passport, and EUSR. We’re equipped for various tasks with training in operating tracked dumpers, forward tipping dumpers, diamond drilling, and rope access. Additionally, we maintain airside clearance and BPSS for secure and restricted areas, ensuring we’re prepared for projects across diverse environments.
